Accession to the WTO is an important development in normalizing trade with Iran. The fact that only four reps signed a letter to oppose it may be telling that all if Congress does not feel the same way.
Since the nuclear deal last year, countries such as Oman and Switzerland have pressed for forming a special committee of the WTO to address Iran’s bid.
