Taxis:
Desks located in major hotel lobbies. Fare for a taxi ride inside
Tehran is IRR 8000 to 10,000 per trip depending on distance. Taxis are not equipped with
meters, therefore it is advisable to ask for the fare before the ride.

At the airport, take an official taxi from the stand across from
the terminal. Avoid the taxi touts at the airport, who will approach you and quote prices
in dollars. It takes 30 minutes to an hour to go from the airport to downtown hotels and
