Tehran, march 6, irna -- a member of the british government's advisor committee tony cox said here monday that the u.s. companies prefer the iran route to transport central asian oil but that country's politicians disagree. he told irna that iran is among the regional countries that has the best and most appropriate facilities for implementing large oil and gas projects. cox further added that iran's pool of qualified experts and untapped resources are among the country's obvious advantages in the sector. ''the u.s. may be right that construction of the baku-ceyhan pipeline is technically possible, but, the essential issue is one of financial viability and all the companies interested in the project will primarily be concerned with this,'' he remarked.
