Seeking a seasoned professional to establish an integrated multisectoral assistance project with rural Afghan refugees around Khash.

Responsibilities: liaise with UNHCR, GIRI offices and others to seek program approval; manage program start up; monitor on-going programs; supervise expatriate and local staff; submit reports; attend interagency and governmental meetings; supervise and account for all financial activity.

Qualifications: minimum of three years international experience in program planning and management including program design, proposal writing, implementation, monitoring, administration and assessments; demonstrated proficiency in financial management of grants; cross-cultural sensitivity; human resource management skills; previous experience with Afghan or Iraqi refugees highly desirable; fluency in Farsi, Dari and Arabic preferred; minimum of BA degree in International Relations or related field with a Master's degree highly desirable; strong computer skills; and excellent written and oral communication skills.
